Food Fair 2009

On the 22nd of November, the Rotary Club of Klang organised the Food Fair to raise fund for the Haemodialysis Association of Klang (HAK) to give free treatment to the kidney failure patients who are having financial problem. The event was held at Dewan Hamzah Klang from 9.00am to 3.00pm. Fellow rotarians, rotaractors and interactors joined forces in making the event a success. There were many delicious food and drinks sold like ice kacang, cendol, nasi lemak, chapatti, mee hoon, chicken curry, marshmallow, sandwiches, kuih Melayu and many more.

All interactors gathered at the hall at 7.00am and helped set up the stalls. Then, briefing was given and each school was given different task. MGS was in-charged of the Colouring Contest section. The contest is divided to two categories, the under 6 and 6 to 12 years old category. There were 3 hamper prizes for each age group. Even the Distrct Governor, Leslie Salehuddin and his wife, Ziela came to show their support towards the RC of Klang.
